The Institute of Roll Design is pleased to announce that two fifteen hundred ($1500.00) dollar scholarships are being made available this fall to dependents of IRD members. The scholarship will be for one year and will be awarded based on availability of funds. Successful candidates may apply in subsequent years. The IRD member must be current in dues payment and in good standing with the organization.

The successful candidate can be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled in college but must be enrolled full time at an accredited college or university at the time of issuance. Students enrolled in postgraduate schools will also be considered.

The scholarship will be awarded on the following basis:

1. Academic and extracurricular activities.

2. A short paper, 300 words or less, explaining the reason the candidate has selected their particular field of study.

3. Included with the student’s application, a short memo stating how the scholarship will be applied, such as; tuition, books, etc.
